Leanne & Craig – Woodchester Mansion Wedding Photographer
This was the Start of the Road Festival, and also Leanne & Craig’s wedding day. It was on the same weekend that they had traditionally gone to the ‘End of the Road’ festival, so this interesting twist and sharing the same meant something special to them.
There was little or nothing about this wedding that was traditional or conformist, apart from a dress and a ceremony. The day revolved around the bands and the timings were given out on the lanyards. Everything was branded, including the lighting that was provided by Event Projection and really brought Woodchester Mansion to life.
According to its website “Woodchester Mansion is a 19th Century Victorian Gothic Masterpiece mysteriously abandoned mid-construction in 1873. Hidden in a secluded Cotswold valley, it is untouched by time and the modern world. This Grade 1 Listed Building has been saved from dereliction, but will never be completed.” It has to be seen to be believed. The gothic features, including wolves leaping from the roof and the fabulous stained glass window in the unfinished chapel are breathtaking.
Leanne and Craig are so perfectly suited and this day really reflected their personalities and tastes.
