Snowdonia – Leah & John’s Wedding Day

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to have been found by Leah’s bridesmaid and invited to photograph Leah & John’s wedding in Snowdonia at Llyn Gwynant, between Beddgelert and Bettws-y-coed. I love this part of the world, we’re so lucky to have a place so beautiful just a couple of hours drive from most places in the UK, although it is always so quiet it feels like you’re the only one exploring it.

The wedding day was such a blast. Most of the family had come across from Oldham and Lancashire and brought with them their humour and sense of fun. We laughed from the moment I arrive, the evening before when they made me eat a dry weetabix, right through until late into the early hours of the morning. Rumour has it that the party actually carried on right through the following day.

Llyn Gwynant is a beautiful venue with lovely light and views down towards Beddgelert that have to be seen to be believed.

I would love to return to this venue and this area soon, if not for a wedding (how exciting would that be!?!) but with the family, either camping or in a small stone cottage hidden in the mountains.
