“We wanted something different from our photos. Not the classic wedding photos but more natural and of people enjoying themselves. We also wanted a photographer who would be easy to get along with and who would interact well with guests” – Lucy and Ryan

Nearly 18 months ago I was asked to photograph Lucy and Ryan’s engagement party. I had a great evening meeting all of their lovely family, outgoing and fun friends and getting to know Lucy and Ryan. They are the nicest couple I have ever met, always putting others before themselves, and this showed in every element of their wedding. Although this was their day, they had planned it around everyone else. ” What would Dad like? What would our friends like?” and from there they knew that they would have the best day ever, as everyone else would be having so much fun. It worked. These guys really deserved to have the best wedding day imaginable, and they got it. Sun, fun and so many memories. Staying until the very end I felt like one of their lucky friends. A real honour and privilege just knowing all of these people.
