I am being increasingly asked to do commercial photography in and around South Wales. Most of the time it’s architectural photography in Cardiff but this time it’s something quite exciting. This weekend we were invited up to stay at the Little Oasis Campsite in Pandy, just outside Abergavenny.

Little Oasis is exactly what it says on the sign, it’s a little oasis away from the real world. With several old gypsy style caravans, which were completely refurbed and painted earlier this year, plus space for dozens of tents to be tucked away into small paddocks and sheltered fields.

There’s chickens, ducks and sheep on the site which was bought by owners Paul and Emma just over 12 months ago. Since then they have gutted the 300 year old farm house and made it a family home for their two daughters. This is a world away from their previous lives in central London.

I really hope that these photos do it justice – this is a stunning and well equipped campsite just off Offa’s Dyke and are taking bookings now right through the summer, with many weekends already fully booked up.
