Wedding Photographer Druidstone, Haverfordwest Photography

At the end of June I was lucky to be the wedding photographer Druidstone Hotel, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire for the amazing Emma and Dan. The day was just perfect. Druidstone Hotel is tranquil and beautiful with spectacular views over the sea due to its location on top of the cliffs. The ceremony was intimate and relaxed and took place bilingually. We then ventured down onto the beach where we were joined by the sun that burst through the sea mist. Everyone had such a great day with entertainment from the wizard, eloquent speeches and unbelievable food. The party went on well into the next morning, and with most of the guests staying in the hotel or the accommodation in the grounds, everyone really let their hair down.

I shot this wedding with the support of Mark Grant who is more than just a support and backup. He is able to connect with the guests and that rapport shows in the photos. Our experience at Druidstone was extraordinary. On arrival we were given coffee and a tour by a member of staff, and anything we needed was take care of. The staff expect the guests to treat the place like a home and do everything they can to make it feel that way. The bedrooms looked delightful and with the hotel set in such beautiful grounds in such a beautiful location, I know where I’d want to get married if I was to do it again.

Two weeks on we are still basking in the heatwave. I’d imagine that every wedding that takes place at Druidstone this summer will be just as spectacular, although will miss the personality and unique approach of Emma and Dan. The level of detail in their planning, helped somewhat by Emma’s mum, along with the support of the staff made for a really special day.

Prices
If all weddings were the same, if each couple I worked with wanted the same photographs in similar albums then a set price list would be a useful thing to have. But that would be quite boring. Fortunately, every wedding day that I’ve ever photographed has been completely different, and so has the package that we’ve been able to put together.

Full day wedding photography commissions start at £1200 and always include:

Pre-wedding meeting. To get to know each other and talk about your wedding.
Venue scouting. I like to be prepared! I’ll visit each venue and scout locations for portraits.
10-12 hours coverage. From the preparation through to the last dance, not just the first!
400 beautiful images. I’ll aim to provide you with around 400 beautiful images that fully document your day.
Web gallery and slide-show. Your pictures will be on a private web gallery and slideshow.
Prints and canvasses. All prints are reasonably priced because I want you to buy them.

Engagement Shoot. This is a fun and informal session to get to know one another. – FREE!
DVD of print quality images. All of the edited, high resolution images on DVD for you to keep and print from. – £100
Wedding albums. Always in a simple, modern style printed at the highest quality – From £300
